Insurance Service Office (ISO) is an independent organization that collects and evaluates information from fire departments and evaluates their fire suppression capabilities. The rating is called Public Protection Classification (PPC) 1-10. HHF/R maintains an ISO class 5 rating. 

Our firefighter certifications come from the Alabama Fire College. We train several times a year with the Alabama Fire College using their mobile burn trailer, confined space trailer and propane fire simulator. All of our members obtain Firefighter 160, Firefighter II and Hazmat A&O. Some members have obtained other certifications such as Fire Instructor I, Rope Rescue and Apparatus Pump Operator.

HHF/R is licensed by the State of Alabama as an ALS-1 Non-Transport service. We provide Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support Level services with 5 licensed Paramedics and 3 licensed EMT’s.
